It is with great sadness the Jefferson County Fair announces the passing of one of our members. Marvin Watkins was a long time member and Director with the Fair. He was also our Tractor and Truck Pull organizer and a competitor. Marvin was diagnosed in late July with Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer and fought hard after he was diagnosed. He was a very important part of our Fair Board Family and will be greatly missed and extremely hard to replace. Please pray for his family and our fair board family as we try to adjust to this tragic loss. It is with great sadness The Jefferson County Fair Board announces the cancellation of the 2020 Jefferson County Fair that was scheduled for August 11-15, 2020. The COVID-19 Pandemic has effected all our lives across the entire world along with the ability to attend and enjoy our County Fairs. The safety and well being of our Volunteers, Vendors, Exhibitors and Patrons has always been and will continue to be our main priority. We value the support you have given in the past and the support you will give in the future. We are committed to doing our best to provide you with vivid memories of attending Your Jefferson County Fair. Please join us next year as we move forward past this bump in the road with the 2021 edition of The Jefferson County Fair.
