JLP Development Consultancy (JLP) was founded in 1995 to offer independent consultancy services to developers, end users, and property owners. JLP is working with a variety of clients, identifying and assisting in the acquisition, development, and disposal of development and investment opportunities throughout the UK. In particular opportunities are generated which can be introduced to strategic partners on the basis of equity share rather than purely consultancy fees. JLP has access to a wide contact network including end users, developers, funders, and professionals. A comprehensive database of information relevant to the targeted sectors is maintained, to support a thorough working knowledge of the development market throughout the UK and in particular Scotland and the North East. The business also carries out regular canvassing of key target areas to derive off market opportunities. JLP continually works within economic fee structures, which are often at levels lower than would be borne by clients own internal overheads and travel costs.
