JGL is a pharmaceutical company in which creativity and passion, openness to challenges and belief in the future are the main drivers of development. JGL was founded in Rijeka in 1991 as the first private pharmaceutical joint-stock company. Today, it is an international pharmaceutical company aimed at developing and manufacturing drugs in target therapeutic areas, with a focus on the senses. We have always been aware of our potential to grow and dream of evolving from a small local laboratory into an international pharmaceutical company that operates far beyond its national borders. Over the past 30 years, we have been building our international position through persistence, patience, and with great passion and energy. Today, with our 150 brands, 300 products, 650 variations, and 950 SKUs, we are present on forty markets that constitute 75 percent of our total revenues. The vision that inspires and guides us is described in our statement: JGL wants to become a global pharmaceutical company specialized in development and production of value-added sterile products in the segment of ophthalmology and ENT, and leader in the use of sea water for health purposes. This requires an exceptional technological and therapeutic focus on this niche of medicinal products.
