The Hunar Foundation (THF) was founded by a concerned and dedicated group of individuals. The key objective of THF is to provide school leavers and other young adults with international standard vocational training that meets the expectations of the market, leading to employment or small business creation – and eventually economic freedom and empowerment. THF’s intention is to offer this service to the underprivileged and marginalized segments of society – the poor, women, minorities, and geographies where need is considered to be more urgent. The vision also is to provide training of international standards so that graduates can even seek employment outside Pakistan. In addition to offering courses that are accredited by the Sind Trade & Testing Board, many of our courses / curriculum are approved by City & Guilds UK, and students who sit for their exams also receive the C&G Certificates and Diplomas which are recognized internationally. THF was registered on the 21st of February 2008 under the Societies Act XXI of 1860, bearing registration No. KAR0104 of 2007-2008. Income tax exemption has been obtained and our NTN is: 3072746-4.

Seva Mandir, founded in 1968 by Dr. Mohan Singh Mehta, is an Indian non-profit organisation based in Udaipur, South Rajasthan. Seva Mandir's mission is to make real the idea of society consisting of free and equal citizens who are able to come together and solve the problems that affect them in their particular contexts. The commitment is to work for a paradigm of development and governance that is democratic and polyarchic. Seva Mandir seeks to institutionalise the idea that development and governance should not just be left to the state and its formal bodies, such as the legislature and the bureaucracy, but that citizens and their associations should engage separately and jointly with the state. The mission, briefly, is to construct the conditions in which citizens of plural backgrounds and perspectives can come together to benefit and empower the least advantaged in society.

At Prerna Foundation we believe in and aim to bring about social change and alleviation of the problems that are rampant in the society at the present in ways that are not just far reaching and visible but also are deep rooted and socially acceptable. It is this core value that helps us to enhance our understanding of the problem and helps us in brainstorming the various solutions that we can arrive at with a view to minimising if not completely eliminating the problem at the first go. Whether it is the problem of children that can be solved with proper education on various aspects of growing up and career, etc or it is the problem of rain water harvesting that needs educating the members of the community or even matters regarding mediation and arbitration, which many people are not aware of, we have a wide array of resources that we aim to deploy to solve any of the various issues that our audience will have on their minds. MISSION To enhance a peaceful, stress free environment for the community through various common and unconventional issues and methods for solving the problems at hand. VISION To be at the forefront of the solution providing brigade when it comes to meeting challenges and eliminating the problems that keep cropping up from time to time, whether at the individual level or at the community level.
