Jacari Information

Jacari provides bespoke tutoring for children in Oxford and Bristol who have English as an Additional Language (EAL) and are struggling at school. Volunteers, the majority of whom are students from local Universities, visit children at home or school for one hour a week to deliver fun and informal English lessons. In so doing, our volunteers help their pupils reach their full potential and grow in confidence. In addition to our tuition scheme, we also host kids' and volunteer events throughout the year to connect those in our Jacari family with each other as well as the wider community.
