Rix has been a family-owned business for more than 149 years. Whilst we started out as ship owners all those years ago, this area now represents only a small part of what we do. We have a diverse and expanding portfolio of brands operating within the group : Rix Shipping- stevedoring, warehousing, transport, logistics, crane & forklift hire Rix Petroleum - fuel distribution and heating services Maritime Bunkering - fuel bunkering Fuelmate - fuel card services and telematics Jordans - motor dealership Victory Leisure - manufacturing luxury leisure homes and lodges Rix Renewables - operations & maintenance managed services, Crew transfer vehicles Seaway - freight forwarding, ships agency Expensemate - expense management services Now in its sixth generation, the group has recently moved its headquarters to an 'a grade' office development next to the marina. This brand new office space has been created to foster new ideas, and collaborative working and to attract people to visit and work in. The Rix Group has regularly featured in The Sunday Times Top track 250 awards. Whilst we are proud of our heritage, we are firmly focussed on the future.
