IWEG is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing excellence in wine and spirit education to professionals in the trade as well as to wine enthusiasts. The IWEG Drinks Academy is the only provider in Ontario to offer all 5 levels of the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) and the French Wine Society's French Wine Scholar (FWS) and Master-level programmes. IWEG also offers a broad spectrum of excellent wine, beer and spirits courses. Established in 1977, IWEG offers the prized qualifications of the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) in a number of locations in Ontario, and across Canada by home study format for distance learners.
