IPMP - Institute of Project Management Professionals Information

The Institute of Project Management Professionals was established and licensed in Ghana, as a Prestigious, Examining, Licensing and Regulatory Professional Body, after meeting the statutory requirements, on 19th May 2016, the Institute was duly registered as a Professional Body in accordance with the provisions of the Professional Bodies Registration Decree, 1973 (NRCD 143) with Professionals Bodies Registration No.: PB. 68. Given under the Registrar of Professional Bodies at Accra-Ghana. The Institute of Project Management Professionals was incorporated under the Companies Code, 1963 (Act 179) as a Company limited by guarantee, on the 10th of February 2017 with a Company Registration No:CS0512120217 and a Tax Identification No.: C0007798652 with mandate to train and regulate professionals in the field of project management, conduct examination and grant membership certification to its members, to publish on matters relating to national project development, matters of professionals interest and any such other means. The Institute of Project Management Professionals is recognized as Professionals Body (Recognition No.: CT-PB001/18) and registered TVET Provider (Registered No.: CT-TP0194/17) under the Council for Technical and Vocational Education & Training (COTVET) L.I. 2195 of 2012. Again to meet the educational framework in Ghana as mandate by the Ministry of Education through the Ghana Education Service to all educational institutions in Ghana, on 12th of July 2017, the Institute of Project Management Professionals was approved by Ministry of Education (MOE) through the Ghana Education Service (GES) under the Section 17, Part V of the Education Act 1961 (Act 87), Amendment Act (Act 266) of 1965 and Act 778(28 of 2008) with Registration No.: GES/GAR/PT/BC.02/2017.
