The Canton Charge is the official NBA G League franchise owned and operated by the Cleveland Cavaliers, located in Canton, Ohio. The NBA G League is a partnership between the NBA and Gatorade for the official minor league that prepares players, coaches, officials, trainers, and front-office staff for the NBA while acting as the league’s research and development laboratory. Featuring 26 teams heading into the 2017-18 season, — all with one-to-one affiliations with NBA franchises —the league offers elite professional basketball at an affordable price in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. After six seasons already becoming a staple in the Stark County community, the Charge are committed to continuing to build upon a great partnership with the City of Canton and the surrounding region.
