Canton Charge Information

The Canton Charge is the official NBA G League franchise owned and operated by the Cleveland Cavaliers, located in Canton, Ohio. The NBA G League is a partnership between the NBA and Gatorade for the official minor league that prepares players, coaches, officials, trainers, and front-office staff for the NBA while acting as the league’s research and development laboratory. Featuring 26 teams heading into the 2017-18 season, — all with one-to-one affiliations with NBA franchises —the league offers elite professional basketball at an affordable price in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. After six seasons already becoming a staple in the Stark County community, the Charge are committed to continuing to build upon a great partnership with the City of Canton and the surrounding region. In fostering the league’s connection to the community, its teams, players and staff promote health and wellness, support local needs and interests, and assist in educational development through various NBA G League Cares initiatives.
