IWDK (Internet Week Denmark) is an annual festival taking place at Dokk1, Aarhus City Hall, Filmbyen, Katrinebjerg and many other places in and around Aarhus. More than 6000 people join over 100 events for presentations, conversations and inspiration about how to build a smarter tomorrow. Theme: The internet and digital technologies Time: April 19 - 23, 2017 Audience: Everyone interested in the internet and digitization. The aim of this site is to share news and information with everyone interested in IWDK. And, just as important, everyone is welcome to share their views and ideas for the festival. IWDK wants to put the importance of digitalization on the national agenda. The festival is all about how technology affects our lives and the way we do business. It’s a festival that connects business, creative and social leaders with entrepreneurs, opinion-makers and citizens in shaping the digital age. Everyone is invited to the many free events. During IWDK we share “the Scandinavian Way” with the rest of the world. To inspire and exchange perspectives. To help man and machine bring out the best in each other. To make a smarter tomorrow with more innovative products, greater services, faster systems, more profitable businesses and more sustainable solutions. Computers, robots, and smartphones do not know the difference between professionals and amateurs, women and men, and cultures - we invite everyone to be a part of IWDK. During the festival, there will be events for adults and children, the youth and the elder, for IT professionals and happy amateurs.
