International Education Services (IES) is a Brisbane-based not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the pursuit of excellence, innovation and growth in the international education sector. The IES motto is 'Innovation in Education'​. IES delivers pathway programs to international students and technical solutions to the global education industry. Through its subsidiary brand PIER (Professional International Education Resources), IES leverages its industry knowledge, processes, relationships and expertise to develop solutions for clients across a variety of industries and markets. IES started in 1997 with the sole purpose of delivering IES Foundation Year, The University of Queensland’s sole foundation program. Since then, IES has expanded its focus to the whole industry, including education agents, industry professionals and students, through online tools and training, mobile apps and other technologies.
