Magic, Mirth, & Mayhem Tait and Michelle originally met at Millersville University. After graduating with degrees in Education, they went their separate ways. After 12 years, their lives crossed paths again. They have returned to the Lancaster area to settle down, if you can call being magicians settling down. Tait bought some pocket tricks so he’d have something to show the kids when he visited the childcare center where Michelle is the director. The problem was that the kids loved the magic and that just encouraged him. His first non-pocket trick was the cups and balls. This began the slippery slope into madness. Soon, he was addicted. Now magic is his life and he has infected Michelle as well. Tait loves to perform. The sidewalk and parks are where he feels most at home. He has this to say about street performance, “Being right there with the crowd seeing their expressions up close, it keeps reminding me why I do this.” Bill Palmer stated as a child that he wanted to grow up to be a magician. He says that his Mother told him, “Son, if you’re going to be a magician you can’t grow up. You can’t do both. You have to make up your mind.” As Tait puts it, “We never grew up and we don’t ever intend to. So, if we don’t fit the bill I don’t know who does.” Since Tait and Michelle do everything together
