INOVA Geophysical Information

INOVA designs and manufactures seismic data acquisition systems primarily for the oil and gas industry. These systems include: cabled and cable-less seismic data acquisition instruments, seismic source controllers, Vibroseis source actuators and vehicles, and MEMS digital seismic accelerometers. INOVA is affiliated with ION's Sensor Nederland division, which manufactures seismic grade geophone sensors. Services include field installation and start-up, seismic field service, and repair - based out of facilities in Calgary, Canada; Houston, USA; Dubai, UAE; Beijing, China; and Delhi, India. In essence, INOVA captures the land acquisition business originally started by Input/Output of the USA, Pelton out of the USA, ARAM Systems out of Canada, Applied MEMS out of Houston, and Western Geophysical out of the USA (vibrator business). INOVA Geophysical is a Joint Venture company formed in 2010 by ION Geophysical out of Houston, Texas and BGP - a CNPC subsidiary based in Zhuozhou, China.
