OER’s vision is to be an international leader in education research-practice-policy nexus. Our mission is to engage in rigorous and relevant education research that advances theory and practice, and informs policy thinking, in Singapore and internationally. OER plans and delivers the research agenda of the office. Together, OER and its research centres aim to develop and grow hubs of excellence in key areas such as early childhood, bilingualism and the instructional core. OER comprises two research centres - the Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practice and the Centre for Research in Child Development.
