INDUSTRA began in an old ice cream factory in 2012, with the conviction that Brno had room for bigger, bolder ideas. Today, we fill the halls of Zbrojovka with contemporary art, independent theatre, dance, circus, film and coffee. We give artists space to create, rehearse and show their work, audiences a reason to try something unfamiliar, and people and communities a place to meet. We help designers, hackers and entrepreneurs turn ideas into prototypes and get projects off the ground, connecting them with collaborators, expertise, and legal and organisational support. And we fuel it all with speciality coffee from our own roastery.
