Indus Fresh, a brand powered by Essar Agro-tech, is in the business of supplying fresh, safe, traceable & assured produce in an ethical, consistent & a sustained manner. Our produce comes from our ‘own farms’ and from those of ‘our meticulously nurtured partners’. These partners, are carefully selected farmers who share our values and commitment to sustainable & ethical farming methods, only using pesticides, fertilizers when absolutely necessary and in quantities much lower than permissible limits. Further our periodic training ensures preventive measures and therefore minimal usage of chemicals & resources. In a nutshell, our products are - 1) Fresh from the farms With the shortest food mileage and minimal handling, we offer the freshest veggies to our customers without any middlemen or agents. 2) Hand-picked with care Aided by our agro-tech experience and our well-trained post-harvest teams, we are best equipped in meeting our customers’ most stringent specifications be it quality, size, type or shelf-life. 3) Safe and traceable Based on the strength of ownership of the entire value chain including ‘pre-planting, soil assessment, growing, harvesting, till post-harvest processing’, we provide complete traceability of the produce like never-before. 4) Farmed to sustain We strive for total sustainability. So our best farming practices are aimed at taking care of not just the soil we grow in, but also the environment (minimal, prudent use of resources like water) and well-being of the farmers. Currently we are supplying fresh Veggies, both ‘whole’ as well as ‘processed & packed to specs’, to all the major Quick Service Restaurants & Food Service Chains in Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore, which include renowned brands like KFC, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Taj Sats and Dominos.
