Founded in 2014 by Tanya Sheikh & Ivan Gilkes, In Support Of is a retail concept with the goal of bringing inspiring talent to the forefront while supporting causes considered important. The project is an extension of Aikaz Showroom, founded in 2010 by Tanya Sheikh with the goal of supporting talented designers with unique outlooks on design. In Support Of’s brick and morar shop, located at 342 W 13th Stree in the Meatpacking District of NYC, features clothing and other items that are unique, detail oriented, well constructed; objects that are both wearable and innovative. We love pieces that have a voice and tell a story, designs with an innate sense of beauty in a wide palette of colors and prints. In Support Of aims to sell designs constructed with quality materials that embody a tastefully modern look. The In Support Of customer will appreciate the beauty in great design. They find value in creative, quality clothing. They care about the impact they make. At the core of its mission, In Support Of aims to promote charitable causes. Future endeavors will grow as the agency of In Support Of grows. Plans include charitable collaborations between the designers we love in support of the causes we believe in.
