Illumination Analytics Information

The mission of Illumination Analytics is to guide and enhance the health management of seniors who reside in assisted living communities. We undertake this challenge because “That’s where the opportunity is...”, the opportunity to stabilize the health of vulnerable seniors and in doing so, help reduce costs and increase profitability of assisted living communities. We deliver our benefits via a series of customized clinical and demographic Health Profiles that provide data-driven, actionable insights. Our physician, deeply experienced in the assisted living industry, works directly with the communities and uses these insights to identify and help manage resident health risk, reduce hospitalization and re-hospitalization, identify and develop quality improvement initiatives, and provide metrics that will aide in being included in referral networks. Resident turnover in assisted living averages 54% (National Investment Center), over 90% of which is due to a decline in resident health (National Center for Assisted Living). The estimated annual financial loss to a 100 bed assisted living community approaches $200,000.00 because of the declining health of its residents. We expect that implementing the customized recommendations of Illumination Analytics will achieve stabilized resident health and yield significant cost savings via reduced resident turnover. We also believe that promoting an emphasis on data-driven management of resident health can be a marketing differentiator.
