ILF Technologies Information

ILF Technologies was formed early in 2002 when Milan's Machining & Mfg. Co. purchased the assets of Versa Tech, LLC. The transaction included all of the engineering drawings, intellectual property, inventory, and machinery covering the Gregg, Baldwin, and Versa Tech brand product lines. Milan's Machining & Mfg. Co. has been in business since 1969 providing precision-machined parts to a variety of industries including printing equipment. The company has over a hundred thousand square feet of space in several plants located in Illinois. As ILF Technologies moved into its new plant in Romeoville, IL, early in 2002, it marked a new beginning for a long tradition of inline finishing innovation and service. We have staffed the new facility with trained personnel to provide quality parts, service, assembly, engineering and sales of inline finishing equipment to the printing industry. Coupled with Milan's Machining, ILF becomes one of the only companies in the world to be able to internally build all major components assuring our customers of the highest quality finishing equipment at the best price. Continuing on a fast growth track, ILF Technologies acquired the assets of the EVTEC Corporation in early 2003. This combined the industry leading Evtec line of sheeting and batching products with the ILF finishing equipment. The Evtec product line also included the previous brand names of Datm, Hays and Egan sheeting and batching products installed through out the printing and converting industry. In two short years this created the world's most complete source for finishing/sheeting and batching equipment with over 500 installations. Service and parts for this complete customer base was now available from a single dedicated source. ILF expanded again in 2004 internationally by opening a new sales office in Tokyo. The new facility brings parts, service and sales capability to a large user base in both Japan and Asia.
