Independent crane engineering, Australia-wide. IDC covers the whole crane compliance clock: the CraneSafe annual inspection every year, the major inspection when a crane hits the trigger point in its design life, and the engineering work in between. We call it Complete Crane Compliance — one partner instead of four. What we do: • CraneSafe annual inspections, organised through our inspector network wherever your cranes are working, feeding one fleet compliance record. • Major crane inspections, scoped against the crane's actual design working period, not a default full overhaul. More than 600 completed, from a Franna to a Liebherr LG 1750. • Design and verification: life extensions, lift plan verification, structural assessments, modification sign-off, and compliance validation for equipment built to overseas standards. Equipment under AS 1418 and AS 2550: mobile cranes, vehicle loading cranes, overhead cranes, side boom pipe layers, EWPs and telehandlers. Why independence matters: IDC doesn't sell cranes, hire cranes, maintain cranes or run a workshop. There is nothing for us to upsell to. When we say a crane is fit for service, that's the engineering talking, and when we say it isn't, that's the engineering too. Independence is a condition we apply, not just a principle we hold: the person assessing a crane is never connected to the company that owns it, across our inspector network as well as our own engineers. Crane Professionals: IDC's engineers hold RPEQ, RPEV and NER registration covering every Australian state that requires it. Our inspection program is overseen by a CICA Endorsed Engineer and our team includes CraneSafe-endorsed engineers. IDC is a CICA member.
