Ideal Contracting, LLC Information

Ideal Contracting is a leading general contractor in Michigan and a nationally recognized AISC-certified steel erector. As a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), we are deeply committed to building together—with our clients, trade partners, and talented team of professionals. Our company is structured into three specialized groups—Construction, Steel, and Special Projects—allowing us to deliver projects of all types and scales. From complex general contracting assignments to massive steel erection projects involving over 55,000 tons of steel, our team is equipped to meet the challenge. Beyond construction, we believe in building people. This philosophy drives our daily operations—from celebrating individual achievements and professional growth to expanding our Build U Internship Program and supporting Career Technical Education (CTE) initiatives in local high schools. Together, we’re shaping the future of our industry. Equally important is our unwavering commitment to health and safety. Our “Safety Brings Us Home” culture is reflected in everything we do, from pioneering the use of ANSI Class 2 fall protection and Type II hard hats to offering employee assistance programs for our tradespeople. Safety is at the heart of how we work—and how we ensure every team member returns home safely.
