The Ireland Canada University Foundation strengthens the relationship between Ireland and Canada through scholarship, academic exchange, cultural engagement and lasting institutional partnerships. Our work is guided by a belief that international connection, shared learning and serious scholarship can contribute to more peaceful, inclusive and sustainable societies. Since its establishment, ICUF has awarded over 700 scholarships to students, scholars and academics, helping to build enduring academic and cultural links between the two countries. ICUF’s work reflects the deep historical ties, shared values and growing contemporary relationship between Ireland and Canada. Through its programmes, events and partnerships, the Foundation supports research and exchange across a wide range of fields, including peace and reconciliation, sustainable futures, culture, the Irish language, and the wider systems that help build resilient, thriving societies. ICUF works closely with universities, governments, embassies, cultural organisations and community partners in both countries. Its current programmes include the De Chastelain Scholarship Programme, the Craig Dobbin Legacy Programme, and Clár Gaeilge, which supports the growth and development of the Irish language in Canada. At a time of deepening Canada-Ireland engagement, ICUF provides a platform for scholars, students, institutions and partners to build relationships, share knowledge, and contribute to positive change in both countries and beyond. **
