AVSI Foundation is an international non-profit and non-governmental organization, founded in Italy in 1972.
With a staff of 2,118 people, AVSI is implementing 300 projects in 41 countries. Its main areas of intervention include education, agriculture and food security, child protection, environment and energy, vocational training, social development, livelihood, urban upgrading, WASH (water, sanitation, and hygiene), and healthcare.
AVSI works for a world where people are aware of their value and dignity, protagonists of their own integral development. In its interventions, AVSI always considers the contexts and the beneficiary’s community. In 2024, 4.071.523 people have been directly supported through the programs, 714.496 of whom come from contexts of war and violence.
All projects are realized thanks to donations from private and institutional donors. Last year's budget amounted to €111.722.947. Among the main donors, AVSI in 2024 could count on the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), the UN Development Programme (UNDP), the World Bank, Fondo di Beneficenza Intesa Sanpaolo, Lavazza, Fondazione San Zeno, IKEA Foundation and IVECO.

Composed of 60 eminent judges and lawyers from all regions of the world, the International Commission of Jurists promotes and protects human rights through the Rule of Law, by using its unique legal expertise to develop and strengthen national and international justice systems. Established in 1952 and active on the five continents, the ICJ aims to ensure the progressive development and effective implementation of international human rights and international humanitarian law; secure the realization of civil, cultural, economic, political and social rights; safeguard the separation of powers; and guarantee the independence of the judiciary and legal profession.
The Balm In Gilead, Inc. builds and strengthens the capacity of faith communities in the United States and in the United Republic of Tanzania (East Africa) to deliver programs and services that contribute to the elimination of health disparities among people of the Black Diaspora.
The organization develops educational and training programs specifically designed to establish sustainable, integrated systems of public health and faith principles, which helps to improve health outcomes of individuals living in urban, rural, and remote communities.
