HyperEdge Corp. based in Batavia, Illinois, U.S.A., designs and markets equipment and systems that enable broadband access within the "last mile" of the U.S. telecommunications network as an established provider of T1-based network access products. HyperEdge was founded as Troncom Corporation in 1992 to provide Mountings for Network Interface Units ("NIU"s) for T1 broadband access lines, and later expanded to provide the NIUs themselves. The T1 access lines enabled by the Company's products are the primary means of delivering broadband access to small and medium-sized business customers. The Company's indoor and outdoor technical enclosures and mountings house HyperEdge and third party NIUs and provide weather protection, power requirements and network interconnection. The Company also sells DS3 NIUs for broadband access.
