The toolset consists of the following: CFAR-Autotrend –Is a breakthrough automatic, alert detection technology that detects events, rather than levels. This means that organisations have the earliest possible detection of a defect to provide the opportunity to optimise maintenance interventions. The tool reduces the reams of CM data to actionable data, with a low false alert rate of better than 1 in 1,000,000 resulting in the work load becoming a function of the number of defects in the assets not the number on assets being monitored. Unified Prognostics Model - Provides a risk based Remaining Useful Life of each asset. Maintenance Demand Forecaster - Processes the Remaining Useful Life data to determine the optimum maintenance intervention with the minimum operational disruption to enable maintenance/network managers to manage the network in an agile manner. This means providing information so that level scheduling can be achieved; ordering and delivering parts so that they are available when required, dynamic depth of maintenance and for possibly reducing scheduled maintenance in the future.
