Our Hovercraft Ladyhawke, is a 1994 Ranger model, 21 passenger, built in Australia. It is a fibreglass craft of advanced design, simple and reliable to operate, and is powered by a 300 hp turbo charged Cummins diesel engine. The craft is Canadian Coast Guard certified to carry 20 passengers for both summer and winter use. It can travel over land, sea, ice and snow. Ladyhawke is capable of travelling over ice and snow at speeds up to 120 kph; a real "WOW" ride. The craft rides on a cushion of air approximately 30 inches above the surface it travels over. The ride is smooth and exciting. The enclosed cabin is outfitted with heaters for comfort. We have operated the craft during days when the temperature fell to 30 degrees Celsius. The engine is equipped with a 110 volt water circulating system to insure engine start up on cold days. The craft can travel over water comfortably at speeds up to 80 kph. The air-conditioned cabin provides a smooth comfortable ride. We have operated the craft when the temperature has exceeded +30 degrees Celsius. The craft can easily provide 360 degree spins, slides, and 180 degree turns quickly, making the ride unforgettable for the passenger.
