Horton Chapel Arts & Heritage Society Information

The society was formed in January 2016 with a single aim – to restore and refurbish the Grade II-listed Horton Chapel, the only remaining building of the former Epsom Psychiatric Hospitals Cluster with potential to be freely open to the public. The chapel will become a thriving cultural centre at the heart of the community, meeting a clearly-identified need. It will offer a dynamic arts programme, café and bar, learning activities, venue hire for events such as weddings and parties, as well as a permanent exhibition about the unique history of the site, which is of national importance, contemporary local resonance and at great risk of being lost.
