Hope Again Information

Hope Again is a faith-based 501(c) (3) organization for transitional housing that was founded in 1992. The organization’s beginning was in one large room in the rear of a local church on the corner of Edgemont and Fountain in Hollywood. Initially founded by Carole Clarke, there was at that time only one employee, four volunteers, and a small board of directors comprised of a diverse group of clergy and lay people from around Southern California. Mission Statement: *to function primarily as a serving arm of the church, specifically to assist those who are trapped in poverty, crime and substance abuse to experience God’s love in action; and find economic, social and spiritual wholeness. *to partner with the larger Church in seeing the poor and disenfranchised through God’s eyes *to build a practicing community of love and understanding, taking seriously the message of Jesus Christ
