Australian Paper is the only Australian manufacturer of printing, communication and packaging papers. It is best known for Reflex® office paper, an iconic Superbrands product. Each year, Australian Paper produces more than 1,100,000 tonnes of pulp and paper for the Australian and New Zealand markets and exports to a further 70 countries around the world.
Australian Paper employs more than 1,300 Australians, mostly in regional communities, and 95% of its production inputs are sourced locally. In 2012 Australian Paper’s operations contributed $754 million to Australia’s gross domestic product.
The Australian Paper mill is located at Maryvale in Victoria. The corporate and sales and marketing offices are based in Melbourne, Victoria along with the envelope and stationery converting plant in Preston.
