With much help from our partners, we create hands-on, inquiry-based educational programs and connected learning opportunities which attract children, families, educators, and adults from Chicago’s south suburbs and beyond. As we pioneer STEAM programming alongside scientists, educators, business leaders, and enthusiasts, Homewood Science Center aims to cultivate a community of innovation. From budding explorers who may become scientists and engineers, to girls who are searching for their paths in STEAM, to supporting our local educators with training and resources, Homewood Science Center functions as a hub for intergenerational STEAM learning in the south suburbs.
