The Paulist Fathers, founded in 1858, is a community of Catholic priests who work in missions, media, campus ministries, parishes, the arts and much more. The community is known for its media ministries, including: - Paulist Press, the first Catholic publishing firm founded in the United States - Paulist Productions, an Emmy Award-winning creator of films and television programs - Busted Halo, a website and radio program for spiritual seekers - Paulist Evangelization Ministries, a creator of webinars and parish-based programs. Paulist Fathers lead the Catholic campus ministries at UCLA and the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. The community leads parishes in New York City, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Rome, Grand Rapids, Knoxville, Austin and Horseshoe Bay, TX.

Mount Angel Seminary, the oldest Catholic seminary west of the Mississippi River, was established in 1889 by the monks of Mount Angel Abbey at the request of the Archbishop of Oregon City. The primary purpose of Mount Angel Seminary is forming and educating men for the Catholic priesthood for dioceses and religious communities. But a sizable number of non-seminarian students, including lay people, study at Mount Angel Seminary in the Graduate School of Theology. Mount Angel Seminary offers degrees ranging from bachelors to doctorate and is an accredited institution under the Association of Theological Schools (ATS) and the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU).

We are a contemplative monastic community living according to the Rule of St. Benedict with a distinctive dedication to the Eucharist. Our ministry is one of prayer, and we support ourselves with the sale of altar breads. We are the Vatican's first approved maker of low-gluten altar breads. We also publish Spirit&Life magazine, one of the oldest, continuously published faith-centered periodicals in the nation, and own Monastery Creations, a line of handcrafted soaps, lotions other items made through the partnership of work and prayer. Many of our soaps and lotions are crafted with a drop of holy water.
