Hip Ink Information

Hip Ink is a custom invitation studio located in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, creating one-of-a-kind invitations for weddings, social and corporate events. It’s our pleasure to share our love of paper, design and type with our clients to create what we like to call "stationery, evolved”. Our goal at Hip Ink is to work with you to set the stage for your unique event with show-stopping invitations and stationery accessories – whether you choose to have us design and assemble your dream invite or let us supply you with the paper, tools and advice to create your own masterpiece. Hip Ink started in 2006, but it began long before then. As a child, I spent endless hours writing, drawing, making posters and playing "office" (seriously!). After graduating with a Business degree and working for a software company, I decided to turn my love of graphic design into a full-time career. So...in short order I quit my job, did graphic design training at Humber College in Toronto, traveled Australia for a year with my husband, had a baby (whew!) and *then* Hip Ink was born! In the past four years, we’ve created custom invitations for a wide variety of clients and each one is a unique reflection of the very special event for which it was commissioned – whether you are getting married, becoming a bar or bat mitzvah, having a baby or planning a party, we can help you provide your guests with a dazzling first impression.
