Hi-Mark Construction Group is an outgrowth of a 50 year old family business founded in 1957 by Yudell Hightower. In 1979, Stephen L. Hightower (Yudell Hightower's son), established a construction firm. In 1983, the family Janitorial Business was sold. Yudell and Stephen concentrated their efforts to the expansion and growth of the Construction Company. In 1991, Hi-Mark Construction Group was incorporated transitioning from a union contractor to a non-union contractor. The company's thrust was expansion of Construction Management in the private sector while pursuing State and Federal Contracting and Design Build projects. HMCG's management staff has a history of success over the years increasing its experience and capabilities, by successfully acquiring and performing projects for commercial, industrial, state, and federal markets.
