Hete Information

Hete is a word that derives from a Vietnamese word "Hết Ế" which literally means "no more unsold goods" or "no more excess capacity", a common saying that Vietnamese shopkeepers wish for when they have low periods. Hete was founded by two Vietnamese immigrants who treasure their experiences and opportunities afforded by the United States. Seeing how Covid19 has caused great damage to businesses they love, they decided it was time to do something to give back to the community that has given them so much. Hete was founded with a mission to convert tables, spots, or goods, that would have otherwise gone wasted, into incremental revenues; helping businesses recover from the destructive pandemic. We wanna give back the control to our independent local businesses and democratize dynamic pricing, a pricing method that has historically been used exclusively by many large corporations. We believe in the power of dynamic pricing, and above all, we believe in the power of community.
