Herrero Builders Information

Herrero Builders is a born and bred San Francisco company, providing commercial general contracting services to the greater Bay Area since 1955. To this day, we remain a family-owned operation with headquarters in San Francisco, and satellite offices in Walnut Creek, Novato, and Sacramento. In 2007, our company embarked on a journey to commit to Lean Methodology in all aspects of our business, including our approach to building. Originally developed by Toyota, we adopted Lean principles to create real value for our customers and eliminate waste in the construction industry. And our successes have been extraordinary. As a commercial general contractor, we've built new ground-up facilities, renovated and seismically upgraded existing buildings, and completed tenant improvements for healthcare, education, commercial, R&D, industrial, parking, athletic, retail and multi-unit residential uses. We believe that what’s good for the project is good for everyone involved and that includes the owners, architects, engineers, trade partners, occupants, the community, and Herrero. We are obsessed with discovering what’s valued most and aligning EVERYONE (and we mean everyone) to deliver it using our Herrero Project VIP™ (Value Integration Process).
