The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is a not-for-profit educational and service organization that empowers women to succeed and advance in the field of engineering, and to be recognized for their life-changing contributions as engineers and leaders. SWE is the driving force that establishes engineering as a highly desirable career for women through an exciting array of training and development programs, networking opportunities, scholarships, and outreach and advocacy activities.

We are the HerCampus Chapter at the University of Washington! We aim to create content to an audience that has been widely under catered to. We are proud to host members of different backgrounds and different experiences, each with their own unique perspective that helps us showcase one of the biggest values we believe in - everybody deserves a spot and a voice in college, and we're here to help provide that! An initiative of the Sandberg Goldberg Bernthal Family Foundation, LeanIn.Org helps women achieve their ambitions and work to create an equal world. LeanIn.Org offers inspiration and support through an online community, free education materials, and Lean In Circles, small groups of peers who meet regularly to learn and grow together. The Lean In community includes more than two million women and men and 100,000 Lean In Circles in 180 countries. The Sandberg Goldberg Bernthal Family Foundation, which also runs OptionB.Org, and the Dave Goldberg Scholars Program, is a private operating nonprofit organization under IRS section 501(c)(3).
