Helvidius Group Information

The Helvidius Group is the publisher of the Journal of Politics & Society, Columbia University's undergraduate journal of the social sciences. Since 1989, the Journal has provided a unique forum for young scholars to contribute to the global discussion on a wide range of issues, including problems of economics, domestic policy, and international relations. The Journal is the only undergraduate publication to be distributed by Barnes & Noble nationwide. Each edition of the Journal features guest essays by prominent public figures, who in the past have included Bill and Hillary Clinton, Kofi Annan, Richard Haass, Kenneth Roth, and Kenneth Waltz. The Journal accepts submissions from undergraduates at any institution. However, in order to accommodate the submission of senior theses we also accept submissions from individuals who completed their undergraduate studies no more than more one year before the submission date. If you would like to submit a paper or otherwise get in contact with Helvidius please send an email to helvidius@columbia.edu.
