O Escritório de Planejamento (EPL) é um organismo que integra a Subsecretaria de Planejamento e Acompanhamento de Resultados (SubPar) da Secretaria Municipal de Fazenda e Planejamento. Sua função fundamental é o planejamento de políticas públicas, principalmente no que se refere à elaboração de diagnósticos e à integração entre os diferentes instrumentos de planejamento que existem na Prefeitura, bem como na Região Metropolitana do Rio de Janeiro.
