Founded in 1970 by Chawki Harb, Harb Electric flourished and became renowned for imparting its trading expertise to independent, local businesses. By 1972, Chawki Harb had joined forces with his equally driven brother, Adnan Harb, and thus created a truly family affair. In few years, Chawki and Adnan Harb started seeking business opportunities beyond the Lebanese borders and subsequently established a successful expansion of trade to foreign companies. By 1997, Harb Electric group further developed, when it was joined by the dynamic and ambitious sons of both brothers. Harb Electric group of companies continued its expansion into new, foreign and local business markets. Today, and over 50 years later, what started out as a one-man show is now a successful global leader that boasts an unparalleled network and is host to a professional and committed team of more than 500 employees worldwide.
