Happy Chakra Information

Welcome to the Happy Chakra Yoga and Meditation Studio based in Bay Street Tweed Heads Coolangatta. We are passionate about starting your yoga journey with us! Please note we run on QLD TIMES You are always welcomed without judgement as we practice with a beginners mindOur Yoga style is best described as a general hatha style yoga class influenced with multiple wellness techniques. The physical postures asana, philosophy, meditation, pranayama breath control and the yogic personal and social code of ethics known as the yoga sutras. We are influenced by our training of the 8 limbs or threads of wisdom passed down from Patanjali the way it was originally taught. Yoga asanas, or postures, are just one of these limbs. The other limbs are equally important, including meditation, pranayama breath control, and the personal and social code of ethics, the yamas and niyamas. So stretching and warm ups, breathing and relaxation are given priority with the traditional yoga postures and sequences. Classes are taught in a relaxed fluid manner. We teach from the heart and the spiritual element that yoga provides which is Love and Kindness. Yoga is known for increasing fitness and flexibility but to us it offers so much more! Some people find solutions to suffering from various health issues and there are others who achieve a sense of peace and calm, a stress-free mind and a fit body. But this takes practice! Yoga is a lifestylea conscious effortdetermination and discipline.not only on the mat.. but when we step off the mat we can continue to practice patience and resiliencewhich leads us to equanimity.cool calmnessto lighten the heart and energise the body.
