Habitat is where you listen & celebrate... The full history of Habitat spans decades, set in motion with the construction of Kelowna’s very first liquor store back in the late ‘50s. In 2004 it was re-discovered and used for the cultural Art and Music Festival, Duotone. 2005 saw the earliest incarnation of Habitat events. The space was a blank canvas for art exhibitions, fashion shows and local bands (Ladyhawk, Alpha Baby/Yukon Blonde, Black Mountain, and many more) came together to breathe life into the space. It’s taken 8 years and hundreds of shows. We’ve put blood, sweat and tears to get where we are today. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do! WHAT IS HABITAT? Habitat is a unique concept: it is at once an entertainment venue for concerts, a meeting space for training or workshops, and a funky venue, downtown for private events. We specialize in the creation and management of various functions, inspiring well executed events that are tailored to your needs.
