Established in 1980, Haas Petroleum Engineering delivers reserve evaluations worldwide from the downtown Dallas business district. Our belief is in our clients, and our mission is to continuously improve our services in order to deliver quality reserve evaluations to meet the demands and standards of the industry. HPESI specializes in providing oil and gas asset evaluations. Our evaluations are used by various entities for a variety of purposes including: Optimizing Reserves Development, Regulatory Filings, Fair Market Value Determination, Energy Lending, Acquisitions & Divestitures, & for Budgeting purposes for Public Companies, Privately Held Organizations, Individuals, Financial Institutions, & Banks. HPESI utilizes industry reserve and resource definitions, specifically those promulgated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Canadian Provencial Securities; Society of Petroleum Engineers, and American Association of Petroleum Geologists. Our engineers possess considerable experience in a wide range of reservoir evaluations such as Unconventional Reservoirs including: the Barnett, Marcellus, Haynesville, Eagle Ford, Bakken, Antrim, Fayetteville & Woodford Shales, Coal Bed Methane, Niobrara, & International Shales. Conventional Reservoirs include; High & Low Permeability Gas Reservoirs, Primary, Secondary, & Tertiary Oil Reservoirs, as well as Deep High Pressure Gas Formations.
