Electric propulsion is allowing the development of new urban air transport solutions such as Flying Taxis or VTOLs. More than hundred projects around the world are aiming to provide aircrafts which are able to take off and land vertically, transporting 4-8 passengers across cities. These new air mobility solutions will be potentially clean and quiet and can be realized with existing technologies. The biggest challenge is not building and flying a prototype, rather certification.
