The Senior Design Capstone Program for the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory University connects students with hospitals, healthcare professionals, and medical device companies to solve real-world challenges. Each semester, student teams partner with sponsors to identify unmet needs, conduct stakeholder interviews, ideate and prototype solutions, and perform feasibility testing. Students gain hands-on experience in the world of medical device design and development, bringing engineering into the clinic, and innovating health solutions.
