Ground Support, LLC Information

Ground Support is a new company specializing in onsite field based, hands-on technical support services. We are a support organization equally qualified to support installed apparatus, test equipment and technicians or engineers. We are not affiliated with a specific manufacturer or testing mythology; and we are not a testing company. We cater to the specific and unique needs of third party testing organizations. With a specialization in SF6 services and the advanced repair of substation devices and equipment. Although we support a broad range of applications, our core competency is testing and commissioning of EHV devices. EHV equipment demands a unique set of qualifications, and presents the testing organization with a different realm of requirements compared to low, medium or typical high voltage equipment. In addition to electrical testing and apparatus, Ground Support is uniquely qualified to handle the clearances, mechanical work, rigging, etc. the on-site team will encounter when working with EHV equipment. Ground Support is also fully equipped to support complete SF6 and GIS applications, including gas processing and analysis.
