Established in 1936, Bromley Mountain Ski Resort quickly set itself apart from other ski destinations in New England by being the only one that is south facing. This gave it the nickname, “Vermont’s Sun Mountain”. While other ski areas rest in the shadows and dim light on those cold winter days, Bromley soaks up the sun all the while using the mountain to shield its guests from the frigid Northern winds.
