GPF1 Inc. has evolved from organizing world-class sports events, to an advisory, and mergers & acquisition role, dealing mostly in professional sports, live entertainment and communications, for a variety of corporations and investment funds. From 1996 to 2008, GPF1 was responsible for the organisation of various sports events in Canada including the Canadian rounds of the FIA Formula One World Championship, Cart and ChampCar, and Nascar Nationwide. In addition, it was responsible for leading the 2005 FINA World Aquatics Championships.
