Above everything else, we are unconventional storytellers. We believe in deepening friendships and connecting people to each other through their story. The Gotamago collection features original ink-and-watercolour illustrations designed and printed in Toronto, Canada. Every design has a personal story and is delivered from the heart. Inspired by urbanity, nature, and the simplicity of everyday things, we combine a love for travel and culture with a sense of continual discovery. Gotamago began as whimsical dalliance and love for all things ink and paper until 2013 when the founder, Lichia Liu, hopped off the corporate ladder to illustrate the world. Gotamago products can now be found online and at retail locations across three continents, in Canada and the US. Gotamago has been featured in various media outlets, such as the Toronto Star, CBC Radio, Chatelaine, BlogTO, Monocle, and the Kitchn.
