GLOBUL operates on the Bulgarian market since 2001. In the first year of its existence, the company was proclaimed the biggest green-field investment and received the distinction ‘Investment of the Year’. In August 2005, 100% of the company’s shares were purchased by COSMOTE Group. A year later, the company changed its corporate identity in order to reflect the change in ownership and mark a new stage in its development as an operator within the COSMOTE Group. In the following years, GLOBUL gradually expanded its customer base. The significant investments made in network expansion and optimization allowed the company to offer high-quality services to its clients. As of August, 2013 GLOBUL is part of Telenor Group – a leading telecommunication company which operates in 13 countries in Europe and Asia and has over 150 million subscribers. Telenor were founded in 1855 in Norway and over the years established itself as a leader in the telecommunications field. The company constantly expands its activities with the aim to offer its clients the most innovative and functional telecommunication solutions.
